My Blog Personality

A fellow blogger I have been following for about a year referred to this site in his most recent post. Essentially, you paste in your blog address, or anyone else's for that matter, and it will return with a personality based on the writing style used.

Here's my return:

ESFP - The Performers
The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

They enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

If I recall when I took the Myers-Briggs personality in a work setting, (it was one of those "team-synergy" deals), I was more like an Introverted something or other (ISFP perhaps?)...but I do completely relate to the second paragraph. Although, I must say I am getting better at initiating conflict. :)

Now, I am compelled to take the MBTI for real! Stay tuned.

By the way, what MBTI are you?

What fun! I love to analyze ...

ESTJ - The Guardians at sideoffries

ISTP - The Mechanics at digbedug

ISTJ - The Duty Fulfillers at yourdailyhaiku

It's nice to have proof that I think.

I get the same ESFP, telling me that I don't write with the same persona I have in real life. :)

ESTP - The Doers

The active and playful type. They are especially attuned to people and things around them and often full of energy, talking, joking and engaging in physical out-door activities.

The Doers are happiest with action-filled work which craves their full attention and focus. They might be very impulsive and more keen on starting something new than following it through. They might have a problem with sitting still or remaining inactive for any period of time.

See - the thing is - I now need to meet y'all so I can see whether this tool I found is worth the 8 seconds it takes to fill it out.

Thanks for the plug!

I understand you have a friend who lives here in the Twin Cities. Perhaps you will have to pay him a visit.
