Garden progress

This spring, aside from our usual annual planting and perennial transplanting, we decided to add some produce to our garden. To make it even more family-friendly, we let the kids choose which fruit or vegetable they would like to plant and care for. Max chose cantaloupe and Cate chose cauliflower after we couldn't find any broccoli. Kyle and I ordered bell and jalapeño pepper plants from Cate's school plant sale.

The crop is looking good thus far into the season. We have fruit or flower on all plants already. We're very excited and getting impatient for harvest time.
