My Maxaroo

Max is a funny kid. Some days he's trying so hard to be grown up like his sister, other days he's a tyrant and we wonder when the whining will stop. And then there are days like today--

It was pretty late once we wrangled the kids in the house to be bathed after helping Kyle plant one of the gardens. In order to get the kids in and out of the bath quicker, we promise to play two songs of their choice. His choices were both Justin Bieber songs: 'Baby Baby' and 'Eenie Meenie.' After getting him in pjs and into bed, he shot up and said, "I forgot something!" He stood up on his bed and wrapped his arms around my neck, hugging me tightly and turned to give me a kiss. "I love you momma. Goodnight!"
