There's no such thing as a magical lawn mower

I mowed the lawn today. It was the first time in at least six weeks. I'm not really sure why I bothered since there are only random tufts of green amongst a sea of dead grass. I guess I hoped that my lawn mower suddenly became magical and re-grew the lawn.
